Last year, the headlines that 3 billion birds have disappeared from North America since 1970 shocked the world and captured our attention. The source of this troubling news was “Decline of the North American Avifauna” published in Science by author Ken Rosenberg of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and his team of co-authors, including Avian Conservation Scientist Arvind Panjabi of Bird Conservancy of the Rockies.

Arvind will share how the study was conducted, where the greatest certainties and uncertainties lie, and what it means for birds in Colorado and across North America. He’ll also share ways we all can help reverse bird population declines, from simple steps we can take in our daily lives and backyards, to key legislation working its way through the halls of Congress. Join us and learn how to take action and #BringBirdsBack!

Presented in partnership with Denver Museum of Nature & Science, with promotional support from Denver Audubon and Audubon Rockies.
