North Platte Birding Club

September 9 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We are excited for our next NORTH Platte Birding Club session! The North Platte Birding Club creates a bird-friendly community and celebrates the ecosystem of the North Platte River, the river that gives life throughout the Nebraska Panhandle. We will meet biweekly through September, choosing a unique birding location along the river each time. The North Platte Birding Club will be gathering at Chimney Rock National Historic Site – at the top parking lot where the Walk to the Rock trail starts.

To foster a sense of community, we will start each outing with food, beverages, and connection for participants. This Club is meant for birders of all levels; Bird Conservancy will provide mentorship to new birders and encourage the sharing of knowledge among all participants. Outings will vary from traditional bird walks to stationary birding, depending on the interests and needs of participants.

These walks are free, but registration is required. Register Here!
