This is a special session to celebrate National Parks week, be sure to join us for some fun celebrating a few of western Nebraska’s amazing animals! Registration is NOT required for this session of Family Nature Club.
Family Nature Club is a monthly program that encourages families to explore the natural world together. Each month features a different interactive program with outdoor games and activities, perfect for all ages! Families receive an Exploration Kit to investigate nature, encouraging you to spend time outdoors together. Each session is held 10 – 11:30 a.m. Family Nature Club is intended for children and their grownups. Each family group will receive an Exploration Kit to use during the series to explore the natural world around them at home.
Family Nature Club will be outside the entire time unless otherwise noted. Please dress comfortably for the weather and bring snacks/water as needed. Family Nature Club will be gathering at the Scotts Bluff National Monument, 190276 Old Oregon Trail, Gering, NE 69341. For more information call 308-633-1013.

Bird Conservancy’s headquarters are located at the Old Stone House Environmental Learning Center at Barr Lake State Park in Brighton, Colorado, approximately 15 miles northeast of Denver. The office is typically open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. The park is an important stopover for birds migrating along North America’s Central Flyway and a favorite spot for birders. Bird Conservancy guests will need a Colorado State Parks pass or guest pass to park at the Old Stone House. Guest passes are available in our office.
