1st Day Birding Walk

January 1 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Kick off the new year with a refreshing and invigorating 1st Day Birding Walk! Join Bird Conservancy of the Rockies and the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation for a delightful morning of birding. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or just starting out, everyone is welcome to this community event.

Come for a little while or stay as long as you’d like!

Discover the winter beauty and diversity of our local bird species as we take a leisurely stroll along the Chimney Rock path. We have binoculars and field guides available to use during the walk. Be sure to dress for the weather, as we’ll be outside the entire time enjoying the crisp winter air.

We’ll stay cozy with plenty of hot cocoa and tea. Binoculars and field guides will be available to borrow.
