Explore interactive booths, including a live raptor demonstration, learn bird-friendly practices, and celebrate Superior’s Bird City Colorado designation — plus enjoy a guided bird walk around local ponds. This free event is hosted by the Open Space Advisory Committee.

World Migratory Bird Day, celebrated on the second Saturday of May in Canada and the U.S., raises awareness about the challenges migratory birds face due to human activities and urban development. In 2025, the campaign will focus on advocating for strategic urban planning and conservation efforts that incorporate bird-friendly practices, ensuring our communities become safe havens for these remarkable travelers.
