SUMMARY:Bald Eagle Outing
DESCRIPTION:Experience the serene beauty of Barr Lake State Park while observing the majestic Bald Eagles that spend their winter here. Each outing will be led by knowledgeable Bird Conservancy staff and volunteers. They will offer insights into the behavior\, habitat\, and conservation efforts surrounding Bald Eagles. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or a curious beginner\, you’re sure to learn something new! Binoculars provided. \nAccess Information: This program includes traveling ~3 miles round-trip (1.5 miles to gazebo/viewing area and back) on a packed dirt trail\, with little to no incline. Accessible parking and restrooms are available at the meeting location. Some adaptive equipment is available for this event. DESCRIPTION:Family Nature Club is designed for children and their grown-ups as an opportunity to spend time in nature\, regardless of the season\, to play interactive & engaging games together\, and to learn about Western Nebraska’s unique wildlife and landscape. \nEvery month will feature a new nature topic. Family Nature Club is intended for children and their grownups. Each family group will receive an Exploration Kit to use during the series to explore the natural world around them at home. Family Nature Club will be outside the entire time unless otherwise noted.
