DESCRIPTION:Raptors are top predators here on the grassland! Campers will learn all about the variety of raptors that live in Colorado\, as well as their adaptations and the food webs that they dominate.  All of our Day Camps strive to balance learning and fun through games\, hikes\, crafts\, scavenger hunts\, and structured outdoor play. \nAges: 8-9\nWhen: July 20-24\, 2026. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Daily.\nTuition: $275/week ($300/week after 1/1/2026); scholarships are available.\nLocation: Environmental Learning Center\, 14500 Lark Bunting Lane\, Brighton\, CO \nREGISTER HERE!

SUMMARY:North Platte Birding Club
DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce our sister birding club\, the NORTH Platte Birding Club! \nThe North Platte Birding Club will create community and celebrate the ecosystem of the North Platte River\, the river that gives life throughout the Nebraska Panhandle. We will meet bi-weekly during the summer\, choosing a unique birding location along the river each time. \nTo foster a sense of community\, we will start each outing with food\, beverages\, and connection for participants. This Club is meant for birders of all levels; Bird Conservancy will provide mentorship to new birders and encourage the sharing of knowledge among all participants. Outings will vary from traditional bird walks to stationary birding\, depending on the interests and needs of participants. \nThese walks are free\, but registration is required. Click here to register \nBinoculars and field guides will be available to borrow. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to be outside for up to the duration of the program. \nThe North Platte Birding Club will be gathering at the Scotts Bluff National Monument Visitors Center\, 190276 Old Oregon Trail\, Gering\, NE 69341.
